retreat

yesterday all of Ty's went on a retreat in Maynooth university.  We left the school at about half nine. when we got there we pulled our chairs into a circle and the leaders introduced themselves. our first activity/task was a group game. we all had to sit in a circle linking arms. four girls were in the middle. The aim of the game was for the girls in the middle to pull girls from the circle into the middle, and who ever held on for the longest won.

When me and aoife smith got pulled we went around pulling out random girls together, one of the highlights from ty:))
After this we played another group game where we had to get into groups of whatever number was called out.

we then got to have our break and were aloud outside if we wanted too.

when we came back in we got into groups so we could have a group discussion on topics given to us. our groups topic was 'if a millionaire was to offer you 1 million euro to donate to what ever charity you wanted, only if you would walk down grafton street on a busy Saturday morning, naked. no one is aloud take pictures of you and you have someone with you so no one will come up to you.'

we we're all put off by the idea of having to do this, but then some of us were thinking if it was for a charity that effected you personally, you would think twice again about it.

we then got lunch and me aoife sophie and beth went for a walk around the campus:))

we then went back and did a reflection on the day and had a quite time to think.
